This Privacy Policy describes how intellectumUS LLC (“intellectumUS,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) handles personal information when you visit our website at intellectumus.com and related pages (collectively, the “Site”), submit a request through our forms, or otherwise communicate with us about our educational technology products and services.

This Policy is written in English. If we provide a translation, the English version controls in the event of any conflict.

1. Who we are

intellectumUS LLC is a United States company that distributes and supports educational technology for schools, kindergartens, and STEM classrooms. For privacy-related questions or requests, contact us at info@intellectumus.com.

2. Scope of this Policy

This Policy applies to personal information we collect through:

• the public marketing Site;
• request and contact forms on the Site;
• email or other communications you initiate with us based on the Site.

This Policy does not apply to information collected by schools, districts, or other institutions when they use our products under separate agreements, nor to third-party websites linked from the Site. Student education records handled in connection with deployed products are governed by separate contracts and applicable laws such as the Family Educational Rights and Privacy Act (FERPA), not by this marketing-site Policy.

3. Information we collect

3.1 Information you provide

When you submit a request or contact form, we may collect:

• Email address (required on most forms);
• Country or location (where the form includes a location field);
• Comments or messages you choose to include;
• Reason for inquiry (for example, personal use, school, reselling, or other);
• Product interest (which product or page your request relates to).

If you email us or call us, we collect the information you choose to provide (such as your name, organization, phone number, and message content).

3.2 Information collected automatically

When you use the Site or submit a form, we and our service providers may automatically collect:

• Page URL (the page from which you submitted a request);
• Browser type and device information (via the User-Agent string sent by your browser);
• Date and time of your submission;
• IP address and standard server or hosting logs generated when you load pages or submit data (these logs are maintained by our hosting and infrastructure providers).

We use a hidden honeypot field in forms to help detect automated spam. That field is not intended for human users and is not stored when filled by bots.

3.3 Local storage and session storage on your device

The Site may store small amounts of information in your browser’s local storage to support basic functionality (for example, remembering that you have already seen an introductory loading screen). We do not use local storage for cross-site advertising profiles.

For first-party visit analytics (described in section 3.5), the Site may store an anonymous session identifier in session storage for the duration of your browser tab. This identifier is not linked to your name or account and is not shared with advertising networks.

3.4 What we do not collect on this Site

On the public marketing Site, we do not knowingly:

• run third-party advertising or behavioral analytics trackers (such as Google Analytics or Meta Pixel);
• require account registration or passwords;
• collect payment card information;
• intentionally collect student education records through these forms.

3.5 First-party visit analytics

To understand how the Site is used and to improve our pages, we record anonymous page views through our own infrastructure (Supabase). When you load a public page, our server may receive and store:

• Page path (for example, /telos);
• Referring page (if your browser sends a referrer);
• Browser type (via the User-Agent string);
• Approximate location (country and city inferred from your IP address on our server);
• Date and time of the visit;
• Anonymous session ID (a random identifier in session storage, used to count unique sessions).

We do not store your IP address in our analytics database after resolving location. We do not use analytics cookies. This data is used only to operate and improve the Site and is not sold or used for cross-context behavioral advertising.

4. How we use information

We use personal information to:

• respond to your inquiries and provide information about our products and services;
• evaluate and follow up on commercial, partnership, or school-related opportunities;
• operate, maintain, secure, and improve the Site;
• detect, prevent, and address spam, abuse, fraud, or technical issues;
• comply with law and enforce our Terms of Use;
• keep internal business records.

We do not use the information described in this Policy to make solely automated decisions that produce legal or similarly significant effects about you.

5. Legal bases for processing (EEA, UK, and similar jurisdictions)

6. Cookies and similar technologies

We do not set advertising cookies or use third-party analytics cookies on the Site. The Site may use local storage and session storage as described above.

We load fonts from Google Fonts. When your browser requests those font files, Google may receive technical information such as your IP address. For more information, see Google’s Privacy Policy.

Your browser may allow you to block or delete local storage and control other settings. Blocking certain technologies may affect how the Site functions.

7. How we share information

We do not sell your personal information. We do not share your personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising.

We share personal information only as follows:

• Service providers that help us operate the Site and process inquiries, including:
  • Supabase — secure database storage for form submissions and anonymous page-view analytics;
  • Resend — transactional email notifications to our team;
  • Vercel — website hosting and content delivery;
  • Google — font delivery via Google Fonts.
• Internal notifications — authorized intellectumUS personnel (and, if enabled, notifications through messaging tools such as Telegram) who need the information to respond to your request.
• Legal and safety — if required by law, regulation, legal process, or governmental request, or to protect the rights, property, or safety of intellectumUS, our users, or others.
• Business transfers — in connection with a merger, acquisition, financing, reorganization, or sale of assets, subject to appropriate confidentiality obligations.

Service providers are authorized to use personal information only as needed to provide services to us and are expected to protect it consistent with this Policy and applicable law.

8. Data retention

We retain form submissions and related records for as long as reasonably necessary to respond to your inquiry, maintain business relationships, meet legal and accounting obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce our agreements. When information is no longer needed, we delete it or anonymize it, unless longer retention is required or permitted by law.

Server and hosting logs are retained for a limited period consistent with security and operational needs, then deleted or aggregated.

9. Data security

We implement reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational measures designed to protect personal information, including access controls for internal systems, encrypted connections (HTTPS) to the Site, and database protections such as row-level security that prevents public direct access to stored submissions. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure; we cannot guarantee absolute security.

10. International users and data location

intellectumUS is based in the United States. If you access the Site from outside the United States, your information may be transferred to, stored in, and processed in the United States and other countries where our service providers operate. Those countries may have data-protection laws that differ from those in your jurisdiction.

Where required, we rely on appropriate safeguards for international transfers, such as standard contractual clauses or equivalent mechanisms offered by our providers.

11. Your privacy rights

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to:

• request access to personal information we hold about you;
• request correction of inaccurate information;
• request deletion of personal information, subject to legal exceptions;
• object to or restrict certain processing;
• receive a portable copy of information you provided, where applicable;
• withdraw consent where processing is based on consent;
• lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority (EEA/UK).

11.1 California privacy rights (CCPA/CPRA)

If you are a California resident, you have additional rights under the California Consumer Privacy Act, as amended by the California Privacy Rights Act, including:

• the right to delete personal information, subject to exceptions;
• the right to correct inaccurate personal information;
• the right to opt out of the sale or sharing of personal information — we do not sell or share personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising;
• the right to limit use of sensitive personal information where applicable — we do not use sensitive personal information for purposes that require a “limit” right under CPRA;
• the right to non-discrimination for exercising your rights.

Categories collected (last 12 months): identifiers (email, IP address in logs), commercial information (product interest, inquiry reason), internet or network activity (page URL, User-Agent), and inferences drawn from the above solely to respond to your request.

Business purposes: as described in Section 4. Disclosures: to service providers as described in Section 7. Sale/Sharing: none.

You may submit a verifiable consumer request to info@intellectumus.com. You may designate an authorized agent where permitted by law.

12. Children’s privacy

The Site is directed to educators, schools, partners, and other adults. It is not directed to children under 13 years of age, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13 through the Site. If you believe a child under 13 has provided personal information to us through the Site, contact us and we will take appropriate steps to delete it.

Products used in classrooms may involve student data under contracts with schools or districts. That data is handled under separate agreements and applicable education privacy laws, not through this public marketing Site.

13. Third-party links

The Site may contain links to third-party websites or services. We are not responsible for their privacy practices. We encourage you to review the privacy policies of any third-party sites you visit.

14. Changes to this Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will revise the “Effective date” at the top of this page. Material changes may also be noted on the Site. Your continued use of the Site after an update means you accept the revised Policy, to the extent permitted by law.
